Bitquery Data Store Terms

1The service

Bitquery Inc. operates a catalog of indexed blockchain datasets.

An order is a defined listing, chain, table set, coverage window, delivery method, and term, as indicated at checkout.

Catalog text, schemas, row counts, samples, and example SQL describe the available scope as verified at the time shown. They are not a promise that the listing fits your use case. You choose the listing and are solely responsible for the choice.

Preview or beta listings may be incomplete or withdrawn at any time. They are not covered by a paid correction duty unless the listing says so.

2Who may buy

Only persons older than 18 are eligible to buy under these terms.

If you buy on behalf of an entity, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

We reserve the right to refuse, delay, or cancel a purchase or order after sanctions screening, a failed payment, a destination we cannot provision, or a listing we withdraw.

You may not buy if you are a sanctioned person, buying for one, or planning to use the data for business in the Russian Federation, as set out in the Bitquery Terms of Service.

3Accounts and credentials

You are responsible for the account used at checkout and for every key, share grant, and signed link we issue to you. Treat the login account details for your account securely. Do not share them with anyone else, unless specified in these terms.

Tell us promptly if you believe access was stolen. We may rotate credentials or revoke a share to contain a risk if you provide proof of account ownership and the circumstances of the account being stolen.

Do not pass credentials to anyone outside your organisation except a contractor bound under the Data License.

4Purchases and payment

An order is formed when checkout completes, and payment is confirmed, or when you settle a Bitquery invoice for that listing.

Payments are processed by the provider shown at checkout. Bitquery does not store card numbers or wallet keys. Prices at checkout are final for that order and are stated in the currency shown. Foreign-exchange and processor fees are yours.

Taxes, withholding, and your own cloud costs are yours unless collected at checkout. If a tax authority later charges us on your order, you will pay that amount.

A purchase covers the tables and window on the order, not the rest of the catalog.

If a payment is reversed or charged back after delivery, we may suspend access and demand the unpaid amount before unlocking your access.

5Term, renewal, and price changes

A snapshot is complete when delivered.

A live share runs for the term on the order. If the listing is set to auto-renew, it renews for the same term at the then-current catalog price unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will show the renewal price before we charge it.

We may change list prices at any time.

6Delivery

We deliver by the method on the order. That may be files, a warehouse share, or another method we enable on that listing.

Delivery is complete when we have granted the share, written the files to the destination, or made download credentials available. Verify files against the manifest and checksums where we provide them.

If a signed download link expires before you retrieve the files, write to sales@bitquery.io. We will reissue access for the same order at no cost.

We do not promise a delivery region, residency, or latency unless the order says so expressly.

7Snapshot and live access

A snapshot is a one-time extract. After delivery, you keep those files under the Data License. We have no duty to refresh them.

A live share or subscription is access to refreshed data for the paid term only. When the term ends, we may revoke the share and stop updates. Copies you made during the term may be kept only under the Data License.

8Corrections and versions

A published snapshot version does not change under you. Fixes ship as a new version.

If a purchased snapshot is defective inside the paid window (checksum mismatch, clear decode error, or a coverage gap we confirm), we will deliver a corrected version of that purchase at no extra cost.

Live listings may change schema, partitions, or encoding during a paid term. We will not use that to shrink the listing you paid for, except where Section 10 applies.

9Refunds

Completed deliveries are not refundable.

If we fail to deliver the purchased listing, or the delivery contains incorrect data, we will correct it within seven (7) business days of written notice with enough detail to reproduce the issue.

Incorrect data means:

• delivery of the wrong chain, protocol, listing;
• delivery of data in a faulty format, including formatting and output errors;
• proven and recorded data discrepancies, including but not limited to missing entries.

10Changes to listings

We may correct data, update schemas, add or retire listings, or suspend a listing for legal, security, or operational reasons.

If we retire a live listing during a paid term, we will finish that term with a reasonable substitute or a pro-rata credit for the unused live period. Snapshot files already delivered stay under the Data License.

Public samples are unsupported illustrations. They may be incomplete.

11Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the catalog, attempt unauthorized access, scrape it at volumes that degrade the service, or misrepresent who is buying.

You may not use the Data Store to stand up a product that substitutes for Bitquery APIs, streams, or the Data Store. You may not resell the data as a dataset, share, or API.

You may not use a Data Store purchase to bypass limits on another Bitquery plan.

You must follow applicable law, including U.S. sanctions and export rules.

12Affiliates and contractors

Affiliates and contractors may use the Data delivered under the orders; however, they will remain bound by these Terms.

You can be held responsible for every person who receives the Data through you.

13Support

Self-serve orders include ticket support at the address below during Bitquery business hours. We do not commit to a response time unless the order sells an SLA.

Support does not include writing your queries, designing your warehouse, or deciding which listing you should have bought.

14Confidentiality

Non-public prices, credentials, unreleased schemas, and order files are confidential. You shall not publish them.

This does not cover information that is public through no fault of yours, or that you must disclose by law.

15Intellectual property

Bitquery and its licensors own the catalog, schemas, documentation, indexes, delivery tooling, and the Data as a compiled product. No order transfers that ownership.

If you send feedback, Bitquery may use it without restriction and without paying you.

You own your software, models, and any derived works.

16High-risk use

Do not rely on the Data as the sole input for a use where failure can cause death, personal injury, or serious physical, mental, or environmental harm or violation of any applicable law or regulation. Trading, scoring, and compliance decisions you make with the Data are yours.

17Disclaimers

Datasets describe public on-chain activity. They are not investment advice. No warranty is made of fitness for a trading or production outcome.

Except as expressly stated in these terms or a signed agreement, the catalog and the data are provided as is and as available. Self-serve orders have no SLA. Uptime, refresh time, and query speed are not committed unless the order sells that commitment.

Blockchain networks, reorgs, and third-party clouds are outside Bitquery’s control.

A signed enterprise agreement prevails over these terms where they conflict.

18Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bitquery’s total liability arising from an order is limited to the amount paid to Bitquery for that order. Under no circumstance shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including trading losses, lost profits, or lost data.

19Indemnity

You will hold Bitquery Inc. and its officers, employees, and contractors harmless against claims and costs that arise from your use of the Data, your products, your destination, your users, or your breach of these terms or the Data License.

20Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access at once if you do not pay, if you breach these terms or the Data License, if we must do so for law or security, or if Section 2 applies.

On termination for your breach, you must stop new use and delete Data we specify, except copies the law requires you to keep. Surviving copies stay under the Data License restrictions.

Fees already due remain due.

21Force majeure

Bitquery is not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control. That includes network outages, cloud-provider failure, chain halt or reorg, war, sanction changes, and legal process.

22Assignment

You may not assign an order without Bitquery’s written consent. Bitquery may assign these terms to an affiliate or to a buyer of the Data Store business.

23Publicity

We may list your organisation’s name as a customer. We will not issue a press quote under your name without your approval.

You may not use Bitquery marks except to credit data as the Data License allows.

24General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Delaware courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

If a court strikes one clause, the rest remains. A failure to enforce a clause is not a waiver. There are no third-party beneficiaries.

25Changes to these terms

We may publish a new version on this page. The version accepted at checkout governs that order. For a live subscription, the updated terms apply from the next renewal unless we state otherwise at renewal.
