Backpack's tokenized Take-Two stock has 1,517 shares behind it, worth about $300,000. It traded $357M in October and was nearly half of Backpack's biggest week

GTA 6 lands on 19 November and Take-Two's stock is the trade everyone is talking about. On Solana, the tokenized version was the busiest stock token of the month. We counted who was actually trading it.

At a glance
Backpack Securities issues tokenized US stocks on Solana. Its Take-Two token, TTWO, has 1,517 shares behind it, worth about $298,000 at the share price. In the 30 days to 28 October it traded $357M, about 1,200 times its float, more than any Backpack token except SpaceX. In the week to 26 October it was 46% of all trading in Backpack's 150 tokens. The volume arrived on 20 October, when eight market-making wallets started quoting it on the Manifest order book within two hours of each other. The AMM side is mostly bots that trade thousands of other tokens.

01 · The token1,517 shares, $357M of trades

Backpack Securities is the tokenized-stock arm of the Backpack exchange. Since June it has issued Solana tokens that each stand for one share of a US stock or ETF. Each can be redeemed for the share through the exchange. There are about a hundred and fifty of them. The one for Take-Two Interactive, publisher of Grand Theft Auto, trades under the ticker TTWO at the mint TTWofwAge91oFhZs7kpQdyrVRkmevgM88xijGvQFbKo.

The token has about fifteen hundred units in existence, one per share. At the share price that is a float of about three hundred thousand dollars. In the month to 28 October it traded more than three hundred and fifty million dollars on Solana DEXs, which works out to the whole float changing hands about twelve hundred times. Only one Backpack token traded more, and that one has a float thirty times larger.

Float value is total supply times the token's valuation price in Bitquery's token data. Turnover is volume divided by float. TTWO's ratio is ten times the next busiest token's.

02 · The rampFrom under a million a day to $58M

For most of early October TTWO traded a few hundred thousand dollars a day, with three short spikes in the first half of the month. From 20 October every day was above fifteen million dollars, and the busiest day, Monday 26 October, passed fifty-eight million.

03 · The venuesAn order book with eight big quoters

TTWO trades in three kinds of place on Solana. Raydium and Meteora are automated market makers, pools that anyone can trade against. Manifest is an order book, where market makers post bids and offers and takers hit them. Before 20 October, Manifest barely figured. After it, Manifest was two thirds of the volume.

The Manifest volume is concentrated. Tens of thousands of wallets traded TTWO there in the nine days from 20 October, but ten of them did more than half the money and a hundred did almost all of it. The eight largest all placed their first TTWO order on 20 October, seven of them inside the same two hours after midnight UTC.

Net bought is buys minus sells in dollars. Every one of these wallets ends the period close to flat against the tens of millions it traded, which is what a market maker looks like. A wallet labelled in Bitquery's address labels as a Wintermute automated liquidity bot also appears among the larger TTWO traders over the last two days.

As the market makers took over, the shape of the order-book trading changed. Trades got bigger, the wallets placing them got fewer, and there were more trades than ever. The table follows four days of it.

04 · The AMM side132,846 wallets, most of them bots

The AMM pools tell a different story at first glance. Over the month, more than a hundred and thirty thousand distinct wallets traded TTWO on Raydium or Meteora, and the median trade there was a few tens of dollars. That looks like retail. We checked who the wallets are.

Raydium and Meteora wallets, 30 days, by tradesWallets · trades · volume
1 trade28,657 · 28,657 · $1.36M
2 to 558,933 · 171,497 · $10.6M

21 to 10011,589 · 466,647 · $45.7M
101 or more1,517 · 746,604 · $87.3M

Half the AMM volume came from the fifteen hundred or so wallets that traded more than a hundred times each. We then took a random dozen wallets from the middle of the table, ones that traded TTWO a handful of times on 24 October, and looked at everything else they did in the month. One had traded more than twelve hundred different tokens in nearly six thousand trades. Another, more than a thousand tokens. The quietest had traded seven. None of them looked like a Take-Two trade. They are the general-purpose bots and aggregator routes that touch any Solana pool whose price has drifted from the order book next door.

That is what an order book with eight big quoters does to the pools around it. Every time Manifest moves, the Raydium and Meteora pools are briefly mispriced, and the bots close the gap. The AMM volume is the order book's echo.

05 · The shareNearly half of Backpack's best week

In the last week of October the trade press carried Backpack's numbers. Crypto Briefing reported a record week of tokenized stock volume and nearly two thirds of the Solana market. TokenPost reported Backpack's own cumulative figures since June, with hundreds of thousands of holders. A day later a CoinMarketCap piece on Kamino's new lending market for Backpack tokens put the cumulative figure higher still.

As reported, 27 and 28 October 2026Figure
Weekly tokenized stock volume (Crypto Briefing)$584M · 63% of Solana
Cumulative volume 12 Jun to 18 Oct (TokenPost, citing Backpack)$5.3B · 430,000 holders · 87 securities
Cumulative volume at Kamino launch (CoinMarketCap, 28 Oct)over $6B · 560,000 holders

We measured the family ourselves for the week of 20 to 26 October, the week before those reports.

Backpack Securities, 20 to 26 Oct, Solana DEXsVolume · wallets

DJT$65M · 69,896
MU$23M · 1,538
SKHY$15M · 1,356

TTWO was 46% of the family's volume that week. TTWO, SPCX and DJT together were 81%. Those three have the smallest floats relative to their volume, and the most market-maker traffic. The tokens with real holders, like Micron and SK Hynix with a few million dollars of float each, traded a tenth as much.

06 · The priceThe one thing that worked as advertised

The token did what a tokenized stock is supposed to do. It tracked. TTWO's valuation price fell about two percent over the month while Take-Two's shares drifted lower ahead of GTA 6. Yahoo Finance noted at the end of October that the stock was down twelve percent over three months. Business Insider reported that Bank of America kept a buy rating, with a target of three hundred and thirty dollars, ahead of the November launch.

TTWO token price, SolanaUSD
29 Sep, first daily open in the window$200.67
11 Oct, monthly high$255.84
29 Oct, valuation price$196.68

So anyone who bought TTWO on Solana in October got Take-Two's price. What they did not get was a market with much behind it. The entire float is worth less than a single day's trading, and the trading is a handful of quoters plus the bots that follow them.

07 · What it meansReading tokenized stock volume

Tokenized stocks are sold on volume. Weekly totals, cumulative totals, market share against xStocks. Those numbers are real in the sense that the trades happened. They say little about how many people hold a share of Take-Two on Solana, or want to. For that, read the float, the holder count per token, and how many wallets trade more than one or two times a month and nothing else.

On those measures TTWO is a market-maker product. The float is tiny, the quoters arrived together, and the long tail of wallets is bots. Nothing here says any of that is wrong. Market makers quoting a tokenized stock tightly is what makes it usable, and the 1:1 redemption that Backpack offers is what keeps the price honest. It does mean that a headline like "$584 million weekly" is mostly inventory moving back and forth between eight wallets and their echoes, and anyone sizing the tokenized-stock market from volume alone is counting the same shares over and over.

08 · How we checkedMethod and limits

Every trade in TTWO and the other Backpack Securities tokens comes from Bitquery's Solana DEX trade data, grouped by day, venue and wallet with SQL over the last 30 days. Float and valuation come from the token supply and the valuation price, which is the average price of the newest hour with real volume. The wallet sample is a dozen Raydium and Meteora traders picked by hashing their addresses, then their whole month of trading read back from the trader table. Wallet roles come from the address labels where a label exists. News figures are quoted from the outlets named and were not checked against Backpack's own dashboard.

Limits on these findings

Volume is the sum of each trade valued at the lower of its two sides, which stops a mispriced pool from inflating it. It still counts both halves of a market maker's round trip, as every DEX volume figure does.

The 30-day total is $356.5M from the daily SQL and $357.8M from the token search tool, which uses a window ending an hour later. The piece rounds to $357M.

Distinct wallets are distinct Solana signers that own the swapped tokens. One person or one bot can control many. The 132,846 AMM wallets are a count of addresses, not people.

The twelve sampled wallets are a sample. Their trading across hundreds of tokens is consistent with bots or aggregator routing; it is not proof that every small AMM trader is one.

The market-maker wallets are described by behaviour, flat net positions against large volume. Only one carries an MEV-bot label and one a Wintermute label. We do not know who runs the rest.

Backpack's cumulative volume, holder counts and the $584M weekly figure are as reported by the outlets named. Our week of 20 to 26 October is our own measurement over Solana DEX trades and may not match the window Backpack used.

Tokenized securities are regulated products and are not available in every jurisdiction. Nothing here is a view on Backpack's compliance or on whether anyone should hold TTWO.

FAQ

What is TTWO on Solana?

A token issued by Backpack Securities that stands for one share of Take-Two Interactive and can be redeemed for the share through the Backpack exchange. There are about fifteen hundred of them, worth about three hundred thousand dollars in total at the end of October.

Why does a $300K token trade $357M a month?

Because most of the trading is market makers quoting it on the Manifest order book and bots arbitraging the AMM pools against those quotes. Eight wallets did more than half the order-book volume from 20 October. The float changed hands about twelve hundred times in a month.

Is the volume fake?

The trades are real and the price tracked the stock. The volume is mostly inventory moving between a few quoters and the bots that follow them, so it says little about how many people hold or want the token. That is true of most DEX volume figures; it is more pronounced here because the float is so small.

What happened on 20 October?

Seven of the eight largest market-making wallets placed their first TTWO orders on Manifest inside the same two hours after midnight UTC that day. Daily volume roughly doubled that day and was seven times higher six days later. We found no public announcement that explains the timing.

How much of Backpack's volume is TTWO?

Just under half, by our count of Solana DEX trades in the week to 26 October. The split between TTWO, SpaceX, Trump Media and the rest is in the table in section five, next to the weekly figure Crypto Briefing reported.

Does this say anything about GTA 6 or Take-Two?

No. Take-Two's share price moved on its own news, and the token followed it. The volume on Solana is a market-structure story about a small float and a crowded order book.
