XTruth Oil: an $85,000 oil dividend and a $2 billion shadow market
XTruth Oil launched on Solana on 13 October 2026 with a pitch for every American: hold the coin, get paid in a tokenized oil fund every hour. We read the payout wallet, every copy that borrowed the name on Solana and Base, and the wallets behind them.

01 · The pitchHold the coin, get paid in oil
XTruth Oil is a memecoin with a dividend. Its website says every trade of XTO pays a fee. The fee buys USOon. Once an hour, the USOon is split among everyone holding XTO. USOon is a real product. Ondo Global Markets issues it on Solana, one token for one share of the United States Oil Fund. That is the ETF Wall Street uses to hold crude oil without taking delivery. The site's simulator shows a modest position earning two hundred dollars a day.
The pitch spread the way these things spread. A promoter with tens of thousands of followers posted videos of Donald Trump with the caption "November 18 can potentially be the biggest catalyst of the year", disclosed as a paid ad with the trading app fomo. Screener listings put the token at a few million dollars of market cap the day after launch. CoinCodex published a warning a week later noting inconsistent payouts and "dozens of similarly named tokens".
Every claim in that pitch is checkable, because every part of it happens on a public chain. The payout wallet is named on the website. The copies have contract addresses. The wallets that fund them leave a trail. We used Bitquery MCP to read all of it, from Solana and from Base.
02 · The ledgerWhat the oil dividend actually paid
The token was minted on the evening of 13 October by CyzYoSZ6pcxjhtb8zcXFEwmGtD5nSTj4myrjJ2kauJ1G. That wallet is also the token's update authority and the address the website names as the sender of payouts, so there is one wallet to watch. Twenty-one minutes after the mint, the first trade went through on a Meteora pool, and the first buyer put in seventy thousand dollars in the launch block.
The dividend ran. In the week after the first payout the wallet made tens of thousands of USOon transfers to nearly two thousand different wallets, worth about eighty-five thousand dollars at the token's price. That money came from where the site says it comes from. USDC arriving in the same wallet, about ninety thousand dollars since launch day, was swapped for USOon before each round of payouts.
Two things stand out. The dividend is front-loaded, and it is not hourly.
| USOon paid to holders, by day | Amount |
|---|---|
| 14 October, the first day of payouts | 447.3 USOon, about $67,000 |
| 15 October | 29.8 USOon, about $4,500 |
| 16 October | 14.6 USOon, about $2,200 |
| 17 October | 2.0 USOon, about $300 |
| 18 October | Nothing |
| 19 October | 25.4 USOon, about $3,800 |
| 20 October | 45.0 USOon, about $6,800 |
| 21 October, to 00:10 UTC | 1.4 USOon, about $200 |
| Hours with at least one payout, of 168 | 78 |
| Longest silences | 29 hours from 17 October 18:49, then 34 hours from 19 October 11:18 |
Four fifths of everything ever paid went out on the first day. That is what a fee-funded dividend has to look like, because the fee is a slice of trading, and trading in XTO fell off a cliff.
| XTO trading, the official token | Per day |
|---|---|
| 13 October, launch evening | $457,000 |
| 14 October | $818,000 |
| 15 October | $90,000 |
| 16 October | $55,000 |
| 17 October | $38,000 |
| 18 October | $73,000 |
| 19 October | $92,000 |
| 20 October | $124,000 |
A reader who bought the site's arithmetic bought it on the day it was most true. The simulator assumes a million dollars of daily volume. After the second day the real figure was a tenth of that, and the hourly payout became a few dollars shared among more than a thousand wallets.
03 · The real tokenWho trades it, and who is out of pocket
The genuine token, XtogpWjiAgvkemc5gr1auxkh77w3vKgSQN1nxJeJfHt, is small by every measure except its ambitions. Its value on paper is under eight million dollars. The measured liquidity behind that price, the quote-side reserve of its pools in Bitquery's liquidity data, is about one dollar in seventy of that.
| The official XTO token, 13 to 21 October 2026 | What the chain shows |
|---|---|
| Minted | 13 October, 21:56 UTC, 1 billion tokens, by CyzYoSZ6pcxjhtb8zcXFEwmGtD5nSTj4myrjJ2kauJ1G |
| First trade | 13 October, 22:17 UTC, Meteora pool 4pBedygxZVUVR94sgTJC6C5CX7nMGBdnv1x8ac9oPJ7o |
| First buyer | 9gA4MRJfbzwHTneJWS1LZ18rrEJSTHyqcaTDYtQtYPDa, $70,291 in the launch block |
| Trades and wallets | 10,854 trades by 1,341 wallets, $1.79 million in total |
| Trades signed by the fomo app's router | 4,057 of 9,441 trades in the main pool, 43% |
| Fully diluted value and liquidity now | $7.5 million and $108,000 |
| Wallets that have sold less than they bought | 700, a combined $750,000 behind |
| Wallets that have sold more than they bought | 233, a combined $593,000 ahead |
The fomo router is worth a pause. Fomo is the app the paid promoter's links point to, with a referral code. Two in every five trades of the real token were signed by its router contract, which Bitquery's labels identify. The promotion and the order flow run through the same pipe.
The last two rows are cash flow, sells minus buys per wallet. They do not include what a wallet still holds, so a holder sitting on tokens reads as behind. Seven hundred wallets are behind. Most of them are the holders the dividend is meant to reward.
04 · The copiesForty-four XTOs on Solana, and the copies are worth more
Anyone can mint a token called XTO on pump.fun in under a minute, and from the day after launch people did. Within a week, forty-four other tokens with the XTO ticker had traded on Solana. On Base the count passed a hundred, and on BNB Chain two dozen more sat on launchpads with a single trade each.
We have measured this pattern before. When Hunter Biden's $LAPTOP token launched, thousands of contracts carried its ticker and five fakes out-printed the real one. XTO is smaller and has one twist. The copies are valued far above the original.

Add the Solana copies together and they come to more than two billion dollars of paper value, about three hundred times the real token. On a screener sorted by market cap, the fakes sit above the original, and the "airdrop page" posts that bots push on X name the biggest copy, never the real one.
05 · Anatomy of a fakeHow a $741 million XTO is built in a day
Take the copy created late on 20 October, TbX69Z9YEbBF647xRQSEKkdM5z99aAM8zyfXuUapump. Nine hours later it showed a valuation north of seven hundred million dollars, over a million dollars of trading, and more than two thousand wallets. All three numbers were manufactured, and the chain shows how.
| The $741 million copy, 20 to 21 October 2026 | What the chain shows |
|---|---|
| Creator, FrbppJ8HM5SGRVPHw24kZRfcXjSxyUWc3Vj2WFnLok87 | Received 100 SOL fifteen minutes before launch, bought $9,082 in the launch second, holds 793 million tokens, 79% of supply |
| Second wallet, 5Gj9uVWowKZ9aSQa2HQajcv5LXQd9VG631gf4FMywVHc | Received 3,500 SOL, $373,000, six minutes before launch; bought $368,253 two seconds after; holds 202 million tokens, 20% |
| Held by those two wallets | 99.5% of supply |
| Everyone else | 2,071 wallets bought $874,000 worth and have sold $66,000 worth |
| The ten busiest of them | Between 726 and 837 trades each, about $20,000 apiece; they did $63,000 of the selling |
| How the busy wallets were funded | 50 SOL each at 19:43 UTC, 33 SOL each at 03:33, 21 SOL each at 05:11, every time from a different one-use wallet |
The second wallet was not a lucky sniper. It was loaded with a third of a million dollars of SOL six minutes before a token existed, then bought a fifth of that token's supply in its second second of life. The creator kept four fifths. Between them the two wallets own everything, and neither has sold.
The crowd is a farm. Wallets that have never traded anything else received the same round sum at the same second, from different throwaway funders, and then each ran several hundred small buys. That is how two thousand "traders" and a million dollars of "volume" appear on a screener overnight. We have traced the same sort of volume bots on Solana before. Every one of their buys was paid to a pool the creator controls.
06 · The one that went to zeroA billion dollars for a day
The oldest surviving copy, 3rF2NSivMQcHgKJfSQST2SHESmsHr6vHbzfkVgG2pump, shows what the end looks like. It was created on 16 October and climbed for two days. On the evening of 18 October its paper value touched a billion dollars. One hour later it had lost almost all of it. By the morning of 21 October it was worth a few thousand dollars.
| The collapsed copy, 16 to 21 October 2026 | What the chain shows |
|---|---|
| Trades | 503,339 by 2,485 wallets, $4.41 million in total |
| Ten wallets with 500 trades or more | Bought $1.37 million worth, sold $581,000 worth |
| Everyone else, 2,475 wallets | Bought $911,000 worth, sold $1.55 million worth |
| Wallets behind, sells minus buys | 1,140, a combined $1.68 million |
| Wallets ahead | 270, a combined $1.54 million |
Half a million trades is fifty times what the real XTO has done in its life. The ten busiest wallets alone put in more than the real token's entire first-day volume. And more than a thousand wallets finished behind, which is where the farmed valuation was always going to leave them.
07 · BaseA token factory, and a chain of wallets handing ETH down the line
Base has 101 XTO tokens, and most of them come from two machines.
The first is a single wallet, 0x8fde9156207095a195645d3b9522104105ee0f04. It was funded with one ETH in early October by a wallet that Bitquery's labels record as a Bybit hot wallet. In the two weeks since, it has deployed more than a thousand tokens. The tickers are whatever was trending that day, and its deployment count tracks the news.
| The Base token factory, 0x8fde9156207095a195645d3b9522104105ee0f04 | What the chain shows |
|---|---|
| Funded | 1 ETH on 6 October 2026 from a Bybit-labeled hot wallet |
| Tokens launched and traded, 8 to 21 October | 1,088 |
| Busiest day | 203 tokens on 9 October |
| Tickers it has used most | IOF, USDP, Monero, XRPN, USOE, EVERNORTHX, XTO, USDF, CYBERLEEK |
| XTO tokens among them | 40 |
| Trades in ten days | 22,213 across 720 tokens, $13.2 million, almost all against itself |
| Largest outside trader of its XTO tokens | $602 across 18 tokens |
| Its two newest XTO tokens, 21 October | $15.6 billion of paper value each, on $2,860 and $2,637 of liquidity |
Nobody buys these. The factory accounts for almost all of the trading in its own tokens, and every other wallet together for a rounding error. The purpose is the listing, the way a wash-traded token on Base exists to be seen rather than traded. The $15.6 billion valuations are what a screener prints when one wallet sells itself a token at a price it chose.
The second machine is subtler. Over one night, twenty-six XTO tokens were launched on Base through the Doppler launchpad, which bundles a token, its auction and its Uniswap pool into one transaction. The deployers look like unrelated wallets. Their funding says otherwise.
Each wallet in a chain received its stake from the wallet before it, deployed one XTO, traded it with a handful of wallets for a few hours, and passed a larger stake to the next. The nine tokens on the longer chain were launched over one night, a few minutes apart. Most of them traded with fewer than ten wallets each, buying and selling close to the same dollar amounts.
| The Doppler wave on Base, 18 to 19 October 2026 | What the chain shows |
|---|---|
| XTO tokens launched through Doppler | 26, by 26 different deployer wallets |
| Deployers linked by funding into chains | 14, in two unbroken chains |
| Trading per chain token | 2 to 64 wallets, most under 10; buys within 3% of sells; $17,000 to $110,000 bought each |
| ETH handed down the longer chain | 15.7 ETH at the first hop, 35.5 ETH at the ninth |
| Where the first stake came from | Unlabeled wallets; the trail ends there |
What the growing stake means is a question for the next article. The chain shows the money moving and the tokens appearing; it does not show who was on the other side of the few trades each token had. What it does show is that fourteen of the twenty-six deployers in the Base wave were links in two funding chains, the pattern we found in the hand-off ring on Robinhood Chain.
One Base token has real traffic. It is named XTruth Oil, and in two days it traded more than the real token did in the same window, with over nine hundred wallets. Its paper value peaked below two hundred thousand dollars, and sells have overtaken buys. It was deployed by a wallet funded an hour before.
08 · The spam layerBots pushing dead contracts, and a paid ad with a date
Search X for the ticker and you get a wall of near-identical posts. "Calling all $XTO frens! Under 100 votes to go to push $XTO onto the CoinMarketCap Top 100 Leaderboard", each with a random listing ID, a contract address and a link. Dozens of accounts, most with a few hundred followers, posting in English, Spanish, Japanese and Turkish.
The contracts they name are on Base, and all four are dead.
| Contracts named in the 'vote for $XTO' posts | State on 21 October 2026 |

Nobody is voting a worthless token onto a leaderboard. The posts exist for the link. We did not open it, and we will not guess what is behind it. A bot network advertising contracts with no liquidity is selling something other than tokens.
Above the bots sits the paid tier. The promoter running Trump videos and the November date discloses the posts as ads bought by fomo, the app whose router signs two in five of the real token's trades. The project's own site does not mention the date. Nothing on-chain does either.
09 · What the chain saysThe dividend is real, small and shrinking, and the copies are the market
XTruth Oil's mechanism does what the site says, in the narrow sense. Fees come in as USDC, USOon goes out to holders. In a week that was about eighty-five thousand dollars, four fifths of it on the first day, from a wallet that paid in fewer than half the hours it promised to. As the token's trading fell by nine tenths, the dividend fell with it, because it was only ever a slice of that trading.
Around that small, real thing grew a far bigger fake one. Forty-four copies on Solana reached more than two billion dollars of paper value. A Bybit-funded wallet on Base minted a thousand tokens in thirteen days. A chain of wallets launched twenty-six XTOs in a night and passed a growing pile of ETH down the line. Bot farms bought the copies by the thousand. Bot accounts on X pushed contracts that were already empty.
The investor the website is written for sees a ticker, a market cap and a crowd. The chain shows which of those is the real token, how much it has actually paid, and who owns the crowd.
Payout figures count successful SPL token transfers of USOon, mint rpydAzWdCy85HEmoQkH5PVxYtDYQWjmLxgHHadxondo, sent by CyzYoSZ6pcxjhtb8zcXFEwmGtD5nSTj4myrjJ2kauJ1G between 14 October 00:25 and 21 October 00:10 UTC. USOon amounts are converted from raw units at nine decimals, which we checked against the wallet's USDC-for-USOon swaps on 14 October. Dollar values use $150 per USOon, its price on 21 October.
Hours are UTC. The 168-hour window runs from the first payout. An hour counts as paid if the wallet sent at least one USOon transfer in it.
Fully diluted value is price times total supply. Liquidity is the measured quote-side reserve of the pools that set the token's price, as Bitquery's price index records it; it is not total value locked. Both change by the minute, and the figures here are as of about 07:00 UTC on 21 October 2026.
Cash-flow figures per wallet are sells minus buys in dollars over the token's life. They do not value tokens still held and are not profit. Wallets within a dollar of break-even are left out of the counts of wallets behind and ahead, but every wallet is in the dollar sums.
Copies are tokens with the ticker XTO that traded between 13 October and 21 October 07:00 UTC, other than the official one. The Base factory's token count is the tokens it traded from its first trade on 8 October; Bitquery's deployment records for it start on 10 October.
Trade history reaches back about 30 days. Funding chains were traced by first incoming ETH or SOL inside that window; where a wallet had no inbound transfer in the window, the trail is reported as ending. Bybit is named because the funding wallet carries that label in Bitquery's address labels, which for the busy wallets come from the exchange's published proof-of-reserves. Every other wallet is described by behaviour and attributed to nobody.
The connection between the Base deployer wallets is inferred from their funding order and timing. Nothing here says who runs them, who ran the bot farm on Solana, or who paid for the X posts. References to the fomo app describe which router signed trades and what a promoter's disclosure said.
XTO, its copies and USOon are newly launched or restricted assets. Nothing here is a view on whether to hold any of them.

FAQ
Does XTO really pay holders in oil?
Yes, in a tokenized oil fund, and in small amounts. The project wallet sent USOon, Ondo's tokenized United States Oil Fund, to about two thousand wallets in the week after launch, about eighty-five thousand dollars in total. Four fifths of that was paid on the first day.
Is the payout hourly, as the website says?
Not on the chain. The wallet paid in fewer than half of the hours in its first week. It paid nothing at all on one day, and went silent for more than a day twice.
Which XTO is the real one?
The address the project publishes is XtogpWjiAgvkemc5gr1auxkh77w3vKgSQN1nxJeJfHt on Solana. Every other token with the ticker, including the ones with far larger market caps on screeners, was created by someone else.
Why do the copies show bigger market caps than the original?
A market cap is a price times a supply. A copy whose creator holds almost all the supply can set almost any price with a small pool and a few bot wallets. The second-biggest copy is almost entirely owned by two wallets, and the one that touched a billion dollars fell to a few thousand in two days.
Who is behind the copies?
Each Solana copy was created by a different wallet, and the bot wallets that trade them were funded from one-use addresses. On Base, one wallet funded from Bybit deployed forty of them among a thousand other tokens, and a chain of wallets that fund each other deployed another fourteen. We do not know who controls any of them.
What does the 18 November date mean?
We could not find out. It appears in paid promotional posts and nowhere on the project's website or on-chain.
This article is provided for informational and educational purposes only and reflects analysis of publicly available on-chain data as of the dates indicated. It does not constitute legal, financial, compliance, or investment advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any token or asset.
The findings describe transfers and trades observed in Solana and Base data between 13 and 21 October 2026, together with the rules used to count them. Connections between wallets are inferred from funding order, timing and shared behaviour. Attributions come from Bitquery's address labels and on-chain behaviour; they may be incomplete or incorrect and may be revised as more data becomes available.
